1. Who We Are

Toteally Custom (Tote-ally Custom LLC) is a small business owned by Alicia, based in Brooklyn, New York. We design and make custom apparel and gifts to order. We serve Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx, with shipping available.

2. How Ordering Works

You send a request through our Design Studio, by phone or by email.
We send you a mockup and an exact quote.
Nothing is made until you approve the mockup and quote.
Once approved and paid as described below, we make your order and let you know when it's ready for pickup or has shipped.

Sending a request is free and doesn't commit you to anything.

3. Quotes And Mockups

Quotes are based on the item, quantity, sizes, colors, placement, and print or embroidery. A quote is valid for 30 days. Prices on our website are starting prices; your quote is your final price, including shipping if you choose it. Your quote includes 2 complimentary rounds of mockup changes; more rounds will add a design fee, which we'll tell you about first.

Mockups are a close preview, not an exact photo. Placement, size and colors on the finished item may vary slightly.

4. Approval

When you approve a mockup, you confirm that the spelling, names, numbers, dates, colors, sizes and quantities are correct. Please check carefully: we make exactly what you approve.

5. Payment

We accept Zelle, or cash in person. Payment details are sent with your approved quote. A 50% deposit is due when you approve orders over $100, with the balance due before pickup or shipping. Orders of $100 or less are paid in full at approval. Production starts once the payment due at approval is received.

6. Changes After Approval

If you need a change after approving, contact us as soon as possible. Changes are free if production hasn't started. Once production has started, changes may not be possible or may cost extra, and we'll tell you before doing anything.

7. Cancellations And Refunds

Because every order is made just for you, custom items can't be returned or exchanged for a change of mind, wrong size, or a mistake in a mockup you approved.

Before production starts: you can cancel for a full refund.
After production starts: 50% of the order total is non-refundable, since materials have been bought and work has begun.

8. Misprints And Defects

If something arrives with a mistake we made, or a defect in printing or materials, tell us within 7 days of pickup or delivery, with photos. We'll remake the item or refund it, our choice. This doesn't cover errors in a mockup you approved, normal wear, or damage from washing against the care instructions.

9. Colors, Sizing And Handmade Variation

Colors on screens can look different from printed colors and fabric. Each item is made by hand, so small differences in placement and color between items are normal. Sizes follow the blank item's manufacturer; please check sizing before ordering, since sizing isn't grounds for a refund.

10. Your Designs And Artwork

By sending us artwork, photos, logos, names or text, you confirm you own them or have permission to use them. We can't reproduce trademarks, logos or characters that belong to someone else without permission. We may decline any design we find offensive, hateful or inappropriate. You keep ownership of your designs; we only use them to make your order. We may share photos of finished work on our website and social media unless you ask us not to.

11. Pickup And Shipping

Pickup details are sent when your order is ready. Orders that are not picked up within 30 days of our "ready" notice may be donated without a refund. If you choose shipping, the cost is included in your quote. Delivery times are estimates from the carrier. Once a package is handed to the carrier, we aren't responsible for delays or loss, but we'll help you file a claim.

12. Your Account

Accounts are optional. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. You're responsible for orders and approvals made from your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; see our Privacy page.

13. Our Responsibility

We'll always do our best work. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

14. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; the terms in effect when you approve an order apply to that order.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
